1. Our commitment

Truehouse does not allow its Service to be used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or any other financial crime. We follow a risk-based approach in line with the Money Laundering (Prevention) Act of Anjouan, the anti-money-laundering requirements of our licence (the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, Licence No. ALSI-202609026-FI1), which include customer checks, transaction monitoring and reporting suspicious activity, and the anti-money-laundering laws that apply to Truehouse Gaming LLC as a company registered in Nevis. Our Money Laundering Reporting Officer oversees these controls and can be contacted through support@truehouse.gg.

2. Know your customer

Every player gives their email, date of birth and country when they register, and must be 18 or over; we may verify age and identity at any time, in particular before a withdrawal. Players from Restricted Territories cannot register. We do not run a full identity check on every account, but we may ask any player at any time to verify their identity, address, the ownership of a Bitcoin wallet, or the source of their funds or wealth, and we will do so where our procedures or our licence require it. In particular, we carry out risk-based checks once your total deposits since you opened your account pass €5,000 (each deposit valued in euros when it is credited), when a transaction is suspicious, and we may do so before processing any withdrawal. While a requested check is outstanding, betting, deposits and withdrawals are paused. Our systems watch for, among other things: large deposits, high deposit totals over time, many deposits or withdrawals in a short period, withdrawals after little play, and payouts to many different addresses. Each alert is reviewed by our compliance team. When we verify a player’s identity, we also check them against international sanctions lists and for politically exposed persons.

3. Monitoring

Deposits and withdrawals are monitored automatically for signs of risk, for example unusually large or frequent deposits, withdrawing funds with little or no play, payout addresses shared between accounts, or many withdrawal addresses. Anything flagged is reviewed by our compliance team, who record their decision. A withdrawal from an account under review waits until the review is finished. Every withdrawal is also approved by two members of staff before it is sent.

4. What we may do

Where we have concerns, we may ask for information or documents, delay or refuse a deposit or withdrawal, suspend an account, return a deposit to its source, or close an account. Where the law requires it, we report suspicious activity to the competent authorities, including the financial intelligence unit that has jurisdiction, and may be prohibited from telling you that we have done so.

5. Records

We keep records of identity checks, transactions, bets and reviews for at least 5 years after an account closes, as the law requires.

6. Your part

Only deposit funds that are yours and come from a lawful source, only withdraw to a wallet you control, and do not use the Service to move or store money. Accounts that do not follow these rules may be closed.
