Responsible Gambling Policy

1. Our commitment
Gambling should be fun. It is not a way to make money, and over time the house edge means players lose more than they win. We want you to stay in control, and we give you the tools to do that.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem include: spending more than you can afford, chasing losses, borrowing to gamble, hiding your gambling, or gambling affecting your mood, sleep, work or relationships. If any of this sounds familiar, please use the tools below and reach out for help.
2. Limits
On the Safer Gambling page you can set: a loss limit and a wager limit, per day, week or month; a time limit for each session; and a budget for each session (the most you are willing to lose in one session). Every bet is checked against your limits on our server, and stakes still in play count as lost until they settle. A bet that could take you past a limit is refused.
Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing a limit only takes effect after 24 hours, so the decision is never made in the moment.
3. Reality checks
You can choose a reminder every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. It shows how long you have been playing and your result so far, and pauses any autobet until you choose to carry on.
4. Breaks and self-exclusion
A break stops all play for 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days. Self-exclusion stops all play for 6 months, 12 months, 5 years or permanently.
Both start immediately and cannot be cancelled or shortened. While they last you cannot bet, deposit, claim rewards or use chat, and you will not receive promotions. Any round you have open is finished straight away, as if you had left it: Mines, Chicken, Towers and Hi-Lo pay what they are worth at that moment and Blackjack stands. You can still sign in to withdraw your balance; withdrawals are reviewed by our team.
When a time-limited self-exclusion ends, your account can be used again; any limits you set stay in place. A permanent self-exclusion never ends. You can start a new or longer self-exclusion at any time.
If you hold accounts with other gambling sites, we recommend excluding from those too, and installing blocking software such as Gamban (gamban.com) or BetBlocker (betblocker.org).
5. What we do
Our staff are trained to recognise signs of harmful gambling. If your activity suggests you may be at risk, we may contact you, suggest tools, or apply limits or a break. Every player must confirm they are 18 or over when they sign up, and we may verify a player’s age at any time, in particular before a withdrawal. We close any account opened by someone underage. We never send promotions to people who are self-excluded or on a break, or who have asked us not to.
6. Get help
You are not alone. Free, confidential support is available: Gambling Therapy (gamblingtherapy.org) offers free online support worldwide in several languages; Gamblers Anonymous (gamblersanonymous.org) runs support groups in many countries. Gambling Therapy’s website also lists local helplines and services by country. You can also contact our Support team and ask for help with any of the tools above.
7. Protecting minors
Gambling is only for adults. If children use your device, keep your account details private, sign out after playing, and consider parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio.
